Job Summary

We are seeking a Metering Engineer to lead amultidisciplinary organization with interface to technical businessadministration and support requirements for our plant meteringsystems. Your primary role will be to handle metering engineeringaspects. This will include providing technical support andexpertise for metering engineering including operation design andproject development installing managing auditing and maintainingmetering systems across multiple plant units. You will also beresponsible for providing technical guidance on high prioritymetering systems issues

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance support trainingand expertise to the facility metering team.
  • Monitor the performance of instrumentation and meteringsystems.
  • Assess the performance of meteringand instrumentation and recommend improvements to optimize systemperformance.
  • Develop and maintain lifecyclemanagement activities for metering and instrumentationsystems.
  • Establish and implement auditingguidelines and conduct frequent audits of metering systems andinstruments.
  • Lead the development of newstrategies and validate the feasibility of improving companyproductivity.
  • Ensure that manufacturingknowledge is captured in the knowledge repository and drivecontinuous improvement through benchmarking and bestpractices.
  • Conduct awareness sessions and leadtechnical exchanges and conferences.
  • Serve asa subject matter expert in instrumentation and metering systems andcontribute to troubleshooting activities.

Requirements:

  • This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
  • Bachelors degree inElectrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Instrumentation andControl Engineering or an equivalent field is required.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in metering systemswithin refining oil and gas plants or petrochemical industries isexpected.
  • Strong analytical andtroubleshooting skills in the field of metering systems areessential.
  • Familiarity with various fieldinstrument types and their applications is necessary.
  • Proficiency in relevant codes and standards in the oiland gas industry including API BS ISO ASME ANSI IEC ISA IEEE etc.is required.
  • Working knowledge ofoil/gasrelated plant processes is necessary for thisrole.
