Overview The Senior Piping Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing piping engineering activities for onshore oil & gas projects. This includes producing design deliverables, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibility. Deputize for the Lead Engineer when required. Plan, schedule, and monitor engineering activities, ensuring timely delivery of design documents. Guide the preparation and review of plot plans, equipment layouts, and piping layouts. Oversee design calculations and piping stress analysis. Prepare design basis and project-specific specifications for EPC and other engineering projects. Manage material engineering tasks including purchase specifications, requisitions, and technical bid evaluations. Review vendor documents and drawings post-order placement. Conduct site surveys for project execution and bidding. Coordinate with internal departments, clients, and inspection agencies. Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and procedures. Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project schedules. Document all project-related changes and modifications. Participate in project review meetings and estimation activities. Qualifications Education: BSc or BE in Mechanical Engineering. A Diploma in Piping Engineering or Master’s degree is an advantage. Experience: Minimum 8 years in offshore/onshore oil & gas facilities or drilling rigs, preferably with a major EPC contractor or consultant. Proficiency in piping design and stress analysis tools (e.g., CAESAR II, AutoPIPE). Familiarity with international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI). Strong communication and coordination skills.
