IB Physics Teacher | Teach in Ras Al Khaimah | Teach Abroad

You will need to be a dynamic teacher of Physics who makes the most boring topics come to life, allowing students to critically think and problem-solve during lessons. You must also be flexible to adapt to the cultural needs of the United Arab Emirates.

The school delivers the Hu S Common Core and the International Baccalaureate curriculum. If you have delivered either of these curriculums before, and you are a teacher who uses 21st-century teaching styles and promotes independent student work, then this school is for you. The school also provides professional development for educators to develop in the AIB framework and allows for career development up the ladder.

The school has excellent facilities such as an auditorium, outdoor football fields, tennis courts, specialized labs for science, math, STEM, ICT, and more.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Physics
  • Teaching license in Science/Physics
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience in Physics
  • Western trained
  • Native speaker of English
  • IB MYP and DP experience is preferred or experience with USA Common Core

Additional:
  • Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
  • Experience of USA Curriculum such as American Harcourt, AP, and Common Core is highly valued
  • Experience of working in the Middle East or with non-native speakers of English is beneficial
