  • Prepare status update/ shiftreports to keep management informed about the daily operationalactivities and to facilitate decisionmaking.
  • Collect loading oil samples to bechecked at the laboratory. Carry out tank level measurement andstock calculations before and after tanker loading, and operate andcontrol loading pumps operation.
  • Prepare dailyoperation report, daily work report, daily production report, dailyoil inventory report, as well as weekly monthly and annual reportof production and operation, and forward to the group leader forfurther checking and correction
  • Charge chemicalinto MEA, DGA, and TEG units and into the crude oil sections, makeup lube oil level of pumps and compressors. Check stock ofchemicals, lube oil and other materials required, and notifysuperiors to arrange for replacement of the depletedstock
  • Shut down vessels, heater, compressors,pumps, etc. during train change over or as a preparation ofequipment maintenance and overhauling
  • Follow upand recognize process operation changes in accordance with standardoperation procedures, using DCS records, trends and logging reportsand control any abnormal variations in pressure, temperature, levelor flow
  • Conduct preventive maintenanceactivities such as checking of alarms, cleaning of pump strainers,air filters of re boilers & blowers, greasing valves andflushing of float chambers according to defined schedules in orderto facilitate uninterruptedoperations.
  • Complete check list and forward tosuperiors in order update status / take appropriate action tomaintain productivity levels.
  • Ensure allrelevant operational procedures and instructions are followed inthe Process section so that work is carried out in a controlled andconsistent manner.
  • Attend daily meeting todiscuss daily operational work and carry out instructions onroutine tasks in order to facilitate timely completion of tasks asper given instruction & HSE standards.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Chemical Engineeringpreferably OR any engineering discipline
  • 3 - 5years of experience as Process / PlantOperator
  • Good communicationskills
  • Proficiency in MS word, Excel and powerpoint.
