Network Engineer

Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot networkissues for AMC clients both remotely and onsite.
Design plan and implement LAN/WAN/Wirelessnetwork solutions for permanent and temporary setups.
Install network hardware peripherals servicesand settings in line with standards and project/operationalrequirements.
Perform site visits and generateBOQs based on client requirements.
Resolveescalated issues by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.
Install configure and maintain Ubiquiti CiscoPalo Alto and Fortigate firewalls VPN concentrators and othersecurity appliances.
Install configure andmaintain load balancers related to network infrastructures.
Serve as the network and security SME forprojects with network and security components.
Monitor and maintain VPN gateways and other related equipment andservices.
Respond to and mitigate networksecurity events such as Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS)attacks.
Set up and manage network securityand virtualized infrastructure.
Lead networkimprovement and maintenance projects.
Travelfor temporary installations to KSA and other nearby regions.
Document projects including Visio diagramssingleline diagrams network rack layouts and connectivity diagrams.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of industryrelated experience as a SeniorNetwork Engineer or Network Administrator.
Professional certifications (Cisco HP Juniper Ubiquiti SonicWallFortigate Palo Alto Barracuda).
Experiencewith Peplink routers.
Solid background innetwork administration and architecture.
Indepth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP)and routing protocols (e.g. BGP OSPF).
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Handsonexperience with Cisco ASA and Fortigate Firewalls.
Working knowledge of LAN/WAN internet emailsystems telecommunications and data communications; standardoperating systems storage for local and distributed environments.
Handson experience with Ekahau Sidekick andwireless setup analysis.
RelevantProfessional Experience:
TCP/IP networkingincluding IP classes subnets multicast NAT.
WINS DNS and DHCP network troubleshooting.
Microsoft OS and Server technologies.
Remoteaccess methods.
Backup and disaster recoverymethodologies.
Patch management technologiesand processes.
Wireless protocols andservices.
Network analysis tools.
