PositionResponsibilities:

• Frequent Standing, Occasional)Twisting at the waist, Walking, bending at the waist, carrying upto 35 pounds, Handling, lifting up to 35 pounds, Pushing/pulling upto 35 pounds, Pushing/pulling more than 35 pounds, Rotation ofhead/neck.
• Prepare railcars to be moved tounload position by unhooking railcars and releasing hand breaks.Direct transportation to facilitate the movement ofrailcars.
• Provide ground support during themovement of rail cars and/or oversized aircraft components. Ensurethat area is clear of obstacles, vehicle and pedestriantraffic.
• Drive pilot and/or rear pilot car toescort seavan carrier, as required use radios tocommunicate.
• Switch rail direction by settingrail switch to appropriate position.
• Breakseals on Railcars using hand tools (e.g., bolt cutters,grinders).
• Ensure that receiving inspection haspulled paperwork and given authorization to unload incomingfreight, as required.
• Disassemble ShippingMechanical Equipment (SME) support braces by removing appropriatebolts using air and hand tools (e.g., air impact wrenches, hammer,pliers, mallet).
• Move crane lift fittings, andaccessories using electric stacker. Attach lift fittings for themovement of major airplane components using hand and powertools.
• Prepare empty railcars, seavans andcontainers for return shipping by backloading tools, sealing,locking, banding or strapping securely inplace.
• Couple, uncouple associated equipment(e.g., dollies, railcars) to prepare for transportationmovement.
• Assemble/attach fittings toTransportation Mechanical Equipment (TME) using hand tools (e.g.,pneumatic wrenches, torque wrenches, impactwrenches).
• Work with crane crew to unload largeMajor Outside Production (MOP) items inside/outside the factory, asrequired.
• Load, unload trucks/trailers ofSME's, TME's and/or MOP parts, asrequired.
  
  

This position isexpected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be requiredto work onsite at one of the listed locationoptions.

The position must meetExport Control compliance requirements, therefore a “USPerson” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

• 120.15 is required. “USPerson” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident,refugee, or asylee.
  
  

Basic Qualifications(Required Skills/Experience):

• Ability to walk constantly throughoutthe workday; stand 6-8 hours per day; climb or work fromstairs/steps up to 8 hours per day; climb ladders; bend and twistfrequently up to six hours per day; squat andkneel
• Ability to lift 35 to 40 poundsrepeatedly throughout the shift
