In This Role, YouWill

  • Driveimplementation of scaled agile practices across all IT functions.Prioritize implementation in line with the strategy established bythe Technology leadership team. Take a pragmatic as opposed to apurist approach to agile practiceimplementation.
  • Collaborate with all ITfunctions and Business stakeholders to design, launch and nurturecross functional Agile Release Trains (team of teams) that enablebusiness value at enterprise scale with high levels of autonomy andempowerment.
  • Coach people across IT on leanagile mind-set, team autonomy and servant leadership. Collaboratewith Tech Academy to provide training. Work closely with Learning& Talent to align and resource developmental coaching,leadership, teaming and culture initiatives to corporatestandards.
  • Research evolution on contemporaryways of working in the technology industry. Identify best practicesthat will enable positive outcomes for the company. Collaboratewith IT leadership to implement new and enhanced ways ofworking.
  • Identify the key metrics around timeto market, quality, productivity and people engagement. Implementthe right metrics and portfolio, programme and team level incollaboration with the functions andteams.
  • Nurture communities of practice thatenable people with common interest in a technical or businessdomain to collaborate regularly, improve skills and activelyadvance knowledge of the domain.
  • Ensure properuse of the programme management, collaboration and agile projectmanagement tools. Help all IT functions to use agile toolset with apragmatic approach that enables right agile practices for softwaredevelopment as well as other work in IT.
  • Enablebuilt in quality practices in autonomous teams. Ensure that eachsolution element at each increment, meets the appropriate qualitystandards throughout development.
  • Guide teamsto select the appropriate delivery practices that maximises theoutcomes expected from the team. These include practices likeScrum, Kanban, Waterfall or a hybrid approach depending on thenature of work to be done and outcomes to beachieved.
  • Enable transparency and alignmentbetween portfolio, programme and team levels of IT organisation byimplementing fit for purpose processes and outcome orientatedmetrics.

Qualifications&Experience

To beconsidered for the role, you must meet the belowrequirements:

  • Degree in areas such as ComputerScience, Business Information Systems, Product Management, AppliedSciences, Business Administration orEngineering.
  • 8 years of experience inInformation Technology and/ or Agile Coaching, though lessexperience may be considered.
  • Certified SAFe5/6 Program Consultant (SPC).
  • Experience inInformation Technology in disciplines like - Programme and DeliveryManagement - Technical Product Management - Architecture and Design- Software Development.
  • Have good understandingof the following IT disciplines - IT Portfolio Management -Programme and Delivery Management - Technical Product Management -Architecture and Design - Software Development - DevOps andAutomation - End to End QualityAssurance.
