Java Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

  1. BackendDevelopment: Design develop and maintain backendsystems APIs and microservices using Java and related technologies.Implement core functionality such as wallet management transactionprocessing and blockchainintegration.
  2. BlockchainIntegration: Integrate blockchain technology (e.g.Ethereum Bitcoin) into our applications and services leveragingblockchain APIs SDKs and smart contracts. Implement features suchas asset tokenization decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols andnonfungible token (NFT)support.
  3. Security andCompliance: Ensure the security and integrity ofcryptorelated data and transactions by implementing robust securitymeasures encryption techniques and compliance standards. Addresssecurity vulnerabilities perform code reviews and adhere to securecoding practices.
  4. Scalability andPerformance: Optimize backend systems andinfrastructure for scalability reliability and performance tohandle increasing transaction volumes and user growth. Identifyperformance bottlenecks optimize database queries and implementcaching strategies.
  5. API Designand Documentation: Design and document welldefinedAPIs for internal and external consumption following RESTfulprinciples and best practices. Collaborate with frontend developersand thirdparty partners to define API requirements and ensuresmooth integration.
  6. Monitoringand Maintenance: Monitor system health performancemetrics and uptime to proactively identify and resolve issues.Implement logging monitoring and alerting systems to track systembehavior and troubleshoot problems inrealtime.
  7. Collaboration andCommunication: Work closely with crossfunctionalteams including frontend developers QA engineers product managersand DevOps engineers to align on project requirements andpriorities. Participate in agile development processes sprintplanning and dailystandups.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field(or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experienceas a backend developer with expertise in Java development andrelated frameworks (e.g. Spring BootHibernate).
  • Familiarity with blockchaintechnology cryptocurrencies and relatedconcepts.
  • Experience with blockchaindevelopment platforms protocols and tools (e.g. Ethereum SolidityWeb3.js).
  • Knowledge of cryptographic principlesdigital signatures and secure authenticationmethods.
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases(e.g. MySQL MongoDB) and ORMframeworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms(e.g. AWS Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g.Docker).
  • Strong problemsolving skillsanalytical thinking and attention todetail.
  • Excellent communication andcollaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a teamenvironment.
