RoleOverview

The Azure TechnicalArchitect is responsible for delivering and implementing Azuresolutions for the clients of our clients. The Technical Architectwill design Azure solutions on IaaS and PaaS with Security in mindand will be comfortable presenting these solutions to clients inworkshops and demonstrations. The Technical Architect will managethe endtoend delivery working with other Architects and Consultantsto ensure our projects are delivered with time and quality a keyobjective. The Technical Architect will mentor junior members ofthe team and encourage a collaborative workingenvironment.

Requirements

  • The person should have6 years in cloud or infrastructure delivery anddemonstrated
  • Ideally a background in onpremises infrastructure virtualisation technologies orapplications
  • Proven experience with Azure IaaS(networking storage virtual machines)
  • Provenexperience with Azure Backup & RecoveryServices
  • Proven experience with AzureGovernance (Blueprints policies tagging costmanagement)
  • Proven experience with Azure SQL(Managed Instances & PaaS)
  • Provenexperience with Azure Security (NSG ASG Sentinel Security CentreDefender ACL Azure Firewall Policy)
  • Provenexperience with Azure Serverless and integration (BatchFunctionLogic Apps EventGrid ServiceBus)
  • Proven experience with Azure ACR ACIKubernetes
  • Proven experience with Azure ADincluding on premises ActiveDirectory
  • Experience with Windows ServerLinuxOS
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code(ARMTerraformPowerShell)
  • PIM Threat ProtectionData Loss Prevention Conditional Access and EntitlementManagement
  • SIEM CSPMDevSecOps
  • Builds and cultivates strongrelationships and shows technical leadership to deliver qualityclientcentric solutions using Microsofttechnologies
  • Manages architecture preparationand delivery for projects
  • Can advocateinnovation both within the firm and with clients and promotescollaboration amongst teams
  • Advanced technicalknowledge direction and training toothers
  • Experienced Azure architect withdelivery of Microsoft infrastructure (cloud & onpremises)background or application migrations to serverlesstechnologies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills andthe ability to influence and manage a range of relationships in acomplex environment
  • Strong communication skills(verbal written and listening): an ability to present informationconcisely to communicate in a manner applicable to alllevels
  • Able to produce high quality andprofessional presentations
  • Excellent attentionto detail and ability to ensure documents are consistent inlanguage terminology and style
  • Flexibleapproach to work with a focus on delivery to deadlines and highstandards
  • Ability to handle highly confidentialinformation with tact anddiscretion


Responsibilities

  • Creatingarchitectural designs based on customerrequirements
  • Deliver product presentations andconfigured demonstrations to prove our ability to meet a prospectscloud adoption needs
  • Presenting designs andsolutions to clients
  • Delivering Azure solutionsand work with delivery teams to ensure architectural governance ismaintained
  • Drive innovation by developing codebase and automated deployments
  • Work onproposals and RFIs alongside the sales and presales teams
  • The Employee is required to follow our clientsInformation Security Policies (ISP and ISMP) at alltimes
