Karas Veterinary Clinic, UAE is an expanding, premium network of veterinary clinics dedicated to delivering exceptional animal care and client service across the UAE. We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented General Manager to lead our growth strategy and operational excellence across our clinic portfolio. Role Overview The General Manager will serve and grow into the chief operating executive for the chain of clinics, responsible for the overall success, profitability, and strategic direction of the business. This pivotal role requires a strong leader who can balance the clinical mission of animal welfare with the operational demands of a multi-site healthcare business. You will report directly to the group management and collaborate closely with the appointed Medical Director(s) at each facility. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Growth: Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive sustainable growth, market share, and profitability across all clinic locations. Identify opportunities for expansion and new service lines. Operational Excellence: Oversee all non-clinical operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and a seamless client experience across the entire chain. Implement best practices for administration, facility management, and supply chain logistics. Financial Management: Manage comprehensive P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Drive revenue generation while controlling costs and maximizing operational efficiency. Compliance & Regulation: Ensure strict adherence to all United Arab Emirates federal and local regulations governing veterinary practice, business operations, and animal welfare standards, working closely with the Medical Directors regardingMOCCAErequirements. Team Leadership & Culture: Lead, mentor, and inspire a large team of clinic managers and support staff (HR, Finance, Marketing). Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture that aligns with our company values. Marketing & Client Relations: Oversee marketing initiatives and client relationship management strategies to enhance brand reputation and client loyalty within the competitive UAE market. Required Qualifications & Experience Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is required. An MBA is highly preferred. Experience: Minimum of5-10 years of progressive management experience, with at least 3 years in a pet clinic leadership role or equivalent. Essential: Proven multi-site management experience, preferably within the healthcare or veterinary sectors. Experience operating within the UAE or GCC markets is highly advantageous and preferred. Skills Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and decision-making abilities. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills. A deep understanding of business operations and performance metrics.
