GCC Operations Team Leader

Purpose: To execute all operations activities to achieve objectives.

Key Responsibility Areas:

  1. Responsible and accountable for timely placement of vehicles to the customers according to projection.
  2. Responsible and accountable for the allocation of vehicles and manpower to dispatch cargo.
  3. Responsible and accountable for optimal utilization of trucks.
  4. Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all vehicles are monitored in roam works system from departure to arrival.
  5. Responsible and accountable for ensuring that roam works is updated with ULD/PMC numbers and flight details after loading cargo.
  6. Responsible and accountable to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
  7. Responsible and accountable for analyzing and implementing improvements to existing processes, procedures, and issues impacting the customers and carriers.
  8. Responsible for coordinating with workshop for vehicle related issues and ensuring resolution.
  9. Responsible for troubleshooting.
  10. Responsible for handling emergency situations as per emergency operations SLA/protocol.
  11. Responsible for managing the performance of drivers and staff during the shift.
  12. Responsible for timeously submitting all the requisite reports to superiors.
  13. Responsible for doing any other related logistics functions as requested or required.

Key Performance Indicators:

  1. Accuracy of reports.
  2. Submitting reports as per the agreed deadlines.
  3. 100% allocation of trucks and manpower as per projection.
  4. Number of delays in taking action on customer complaints.
  5. Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.
  6. Ability to inspect equipment, vehicles, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
  7. Ability to estimate sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
  8. General knowledge of export/import procedures and documentation.
  9. Proficient in MS Office.

Education: Graduate.

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
