Job Purpose

The Head of Real Estate Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and implementation of the real estate asset management function within the organization. This includes managing a team and other support staff to ensure the optimal performance of the real estate portfolio, maximizing returns, and minimizing risks. The candidate should have a deep understanding of real estate markets, asset management principles, and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Develop and Implement Asset Management Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the investment team to develop and implement a comprehensive real estate asset management strategy that aligns with the organization's overall investment objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize asset performance, improve cash flow, and enhance returns.

People Management:

  • Lead a team to ensure effective management of the real estate portfolio, including property-level decision-making, lease negotiations, and rent reviews.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with the real estate portfolio, including market risks, credit risks, operational risks, and regulatory risks.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize risks and maximize returns.
  • Oversee the financial performance of the real estate portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including tenants, investors, lenders, and other external partners.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including the investment team, finance team, and other departments.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Provide guidance on governance matters related to real estate asset management.

Research and Due Diligence:

  • Conduct research on market trends, economic conditions, and other factors that may impact the real estate portfolio.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions or dispositions of real estate assets.

Project Management:

  • New Projects Development & Execution to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality.

Education Qualifications and Certifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Real estate, Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering.
  • PMP certification / Diploma in Real Estate Development from reputed institute.

Work Experience

  • Minimum Experience of 8-15 years of experience in real estate, asset management, investment management, or a related field.

Language Skills

  • Strong Proficiency in English & Arabic.
