The Land Sport Supervisor is responsible forthe management and supervision of landbased sports activities andfacilities. This includes overseeing staff ensuring safety andcompliance organizing events and enhancing the experience forathletes and participants.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. SupervisionandManagement:

    • Superviseand coordinate the activities of sports coaches referees and otherstaff involved in landbased sports.
    • Develop andimplement training programs and schedules forstaff.
    • Conduct performance evaluations andprovide feedback to improve staffeffectiveness.

  2. FacilityManagement:

    • Ensure thatsports facilities and equipment are maintained in good conditionand are compliant with safetystandards.
    • Oversee the setup and teardown ofsports events and activities.
    • Coordinate withmaintenance teams to address any facilityrelated issuespromptly.

  3. SafetyandCompliance:

    • Implementand enforce safety protocols and procedures for all sportsactivities.
    • Conduct regular safety inspectionsand ensure compliance with relevant regulations andstandards.
    • Address any safety concerns orincidents that arise and report them asrequired.

  4. EventPlanning andCoordination:

    • Organizeand manage sports events tournaments andcompetitions.
    • Coordinate logistics such asscheduling equipment setup and participantregistration.
    • Collaborate with otherdepartments or organizations as needed to ensure successfulevents.

  5. Participantand MemberServices:

    • Provideexcellent customer service to participants including addressinginquiries resolving issues and gatheringfeedback.
    • Develop and implement programs andactivities that enhance participant engagement andsatisfaction.
    • Monitor participant feedback andmake adjustments to improve the overallexperience.

  6. AdministrativeDuties:

    • Maintainaccurate records related to facility usage staff schedules andevent outcomes.
    • Prepare reports on sportsactivities facility conditions and staff performance for managementreview.
    • Manage budgets related to sportsprograms and facilities including tracking expenses and makingrecommendations for costcontrol.

Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelors degree in Sports Management Recreation Physical Educationor a related fieldpreferred.
  • Experience:Previous experience in sports management or supervision with abackground in landbased sportspreferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strongleadership and team managementskills.
    • Excellent organizational andmultitasking abilities.
    • Good communication andinterpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of safetystandards and regulations for landbasedsports.
    • Proficient in administrative tasks andbudgetmanagement.
