Director Construction – Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Wood is looking for a Construction Director with extensive experience in managing complex construction projects within the oil and gas and energy sector. The Construction Director will represent Wood on site and be responsible for organizing, managing and administering all site activities in accordance with the company’s operating policies and principles, relevant legislation and client requirements. The Construction Director will manage construction cost and schedule and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large‑scale EPCm projects. This role requires extensive experience leading large teams and collaborating with various stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing installation, commissioning and completion activities. Qualifications Degree qualified or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role on large‑scale EPC and EPCm projects in the oil and gas sector. Extensive track record managing field engineering activities within the Oil and Gas sector. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong leadership and team management skills. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. High level of integrity and professionalism.
