Machine Medicine Technologies (MMT) usescomputer vision and computational statistics to enhance theneurological assessment of patients. Our first product, KELVIN,allows assessments of motor dysfunction conditions to be performed,recorded and used both faster and better than has ever previouslybeen possible. KELVIN is already in use at clinical sites acrossseveral countries to support routine patient care and clinicaltrials. MMT aims to build the platform into a generalised tool forpatient selection, surgical planning and device programming formachine brain interfacing, a revolutionary therapeutic innovation.
About you
You are an ambitious and capablemachine learning scientist, with direct experience developing novelapproaches to computer vision problems. You have a strong researchbackground, either in an academic or industrial lab. You areconversant with the relevant branches of mathematical statistics.You care about impact and want to do work that matters.

List of main duties andresponsibilities:

  • Applying computer vision techniques to measurebiomarkers
  • Conducting research and authoringacademic papers
  • Contributing to our researchstrategy
  • Keeping up to date with relevantresearch

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Computer Visionmodeling techniques
  • Demonstrable experiencedeveloping novel Computer Vision models
  • BSc,MSc in relevant quantitative subject (statistics, mathematicalengineering, etc)
  • Good communication and datavisualization skills
  • Experience with corePython data science packages (numpy, pandas, sklearn)
  • Experience with at least one deep learningframework (PyTorch or TensorFlow)

Desirable:

  • Publications at top ML conferences/journals
  • PhD (ideally in computer vision)
  • Previous experience in the biomedical sector
  • Familiarity with git, bash and coding bestpractices.
  • Familiarity with cloudinfrastructure (AWS EC2, S3, Batch)
