JobDescription

The CafeteriaSupervisor is responsible for Open and Closing of the Cafeteria ontime, maintenance/sanitation and hygiene/ ensure all food served toemployees are In GoodQuality.

Duties &Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, assign, oversee andparticipate as required in thepreparation,
  • Cooking and serving of food;preparing and maintaining necessary records andfiles.
  • Identify problems and suggestchanges.
  • Open the Cafeteria, set up equipment,and prepare cafeteria for serving.
  • Trainpersonnel in operational procedures.
  • Maintainaccurate food service records.
  • Prepareequipment for food preparation and monitor refrigerationequipment.
  • Order cafeteria supplies and preparefood orders as needed.
  • Prepare foods as needed;prepare inventory and production records..
  • Prepare work details for next day; secureCafeteria for next day and when not inuse.
  • Supervise cleaning and sanitizing ofeating utensils, counters andequipment.
  • Prepare work Weekly schedule andMonthly time sheets.
  • Prepare food productionand Wastage reports.
  • Maintenance Report for anyDamage of the equipment
  • AttendMeetings.
  • Perform related work asrequired.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS& REQUIREMENTS

Generalknowledge of the preparation, cooking and serving of food in largequantities; general knowledge of food quality and values: someknowledge of special dietary requirements; general knowledge of thepractices used in receiving and storing food in large quantities;general knowledge of Cafeteria sanitation and safety measures usedin food handling and in the operation, cleaning and care ofutensils, equipment and work area; ability to supervise the work ofothers; ability to prepare reports; ability to work with others ina close fast paced environment must be organized and be able tocomplete reports and documents in a timelymanner.

Requirements

Reading,writing and oral proficiency in the Englishlanguage

HACCP in Practice (Level 2 Award inFood Safety)
