POSITIONSUMMARY


Respond promptly to requests from guests andother departments. Fill cart with supplies and transport cart toassigned area. Enter guest rooms following procedures for gainingaccess and ensuring vacancy before entering. Replace guestamenities and supplies in rooms. Replace dirty linens and terrywith clean items. Make beds and fold terry. Clean bathrooms. Removetrash dirty linen and room service items. Check that all appliancesare present in the room and in working order. Straighten desk itemsfurniture and appliances. Dust polish and remove marks from wallsand furnishings. Vacuum carpets and performs floor care duties(e.g. in guest rooms and hallway).


Follow all company and safety and securitypolicies and procedures; report any maintenance problems safetyhazards accidents or injuries; complete safety training andcertifications; properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniformand personal appearance are clean and professional; maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledgeall guests according to company standards; anticipate and addressguests service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thankguests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear andprofessional language. Support team to reach common goals. Ensureadherence to quality expectations and standards. Move lift carryand place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds withoutassistance and in excess of 25 pounds with assistance. Ability topush and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other workrelatedequipment over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead andbelow the knees including bending twisting pulling and stooping.Stand sit kneel or walk for an extended period across an entirework shift. Grasp turn and manipulate objects of varying size andweight requiring fine motor skills and handeye coordination.Perform other reasonable job duties as requested bySupervisors.


PREFERREDQUALIFICATION

Education: No high school diplomaor G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: Norelated work experience.

Supervisory Experience:No supervisory experience.

License orCertification: None
