Rotables Controller

Reviews, assess & action RepairQuotations, for aircraft components and repairable in accordancewith existing contracts and/or Product Support Agreements(SSC/PSAA).
2. Identifies and collaborates with the teamto improve the existing process through automation and effectiveuse of systems.
3. Establishes and manages processing ofunserviceable components to external Repair Stations/Vendors forrepair and overhaul.
4. Establishes the Repair Processarea for unserviceable components/repairable to ensure effectiveutilization of space, time, and safety standards for packing andonward shipments of spares for repair/overhaul to the externalvendors.
5. Monitors and controls repair costs to achievebudgetary goals. Challenge vendors on the repair quotations toinduce cost efficiency.
6. Manages the In-house repaircapability. Maintain effective communication with internalworkshops, Maintenance Planning, Procurement and Technical Servicesto effectively manage processes. Provide use cases for in-housecapability building for repair to reduce cost and time forrepairs.
7. Coordinate with Engineering Procurement toidentify the repairs without contract/ near expiry contracts fortimely negotiation and award.
8. Assist in identificationand assessment of new repair shops.
9. Identifies andimplements cost-saving opportunities in the repair and procurementprocess.
10. Maintains close collaboration with Repairadministration to ensure spares are dispatched in time to achievebetter TATs (Turn Around Time)
11. Organizes and managesshipping and logistics of aircraft parts, engines / APU tosuppliers for repairs.
12. Manages schedule componentremovals. Ensure timely availability of components based on MRB/AMPrequirements and timely return of unserviceableparts.
13. Establish KPIs of their individual areas afterconsultation and agreement by Line Manager
14. Focus onteam training (On Job Training) and building required skillset ofthe individuals reporting to this role.
15. Establish anagreed weekly/monthly Performance review structure with the Repairstations to ensure better visibility of the ongoing repairs toachieve best outcome in terms of TAT.
16. Establish aprocess for the daily review of nil stock components &repairable to accord priority to the related repairs to avoid AOGsituation due NIL stock.
17. Establish a daily reportcirculation of under process spares at Repair area awaitingdisposition to ensure rigid monitoring of unserviceableitems.
18. Action items identified for disposal as perSOP.
