The Forklift Driver will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and stack products and materials efficiently and safely. This role is crucial in supporting our commitment to excellence in serving various industries by ensuring the effective management of our inventory. • Key Responsibilities: Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials and products within the warehouse and loading areas. Load and unload goods from delivery trucks, ensuring items are handled with care and placed in designated storage locations. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure safety and compliance with operational standards. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, including receipts, shipments, and any discrepancies. Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize storage space and improve efficiency in material handling. Follow safety protocols and company policies to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment. Assist in training new operators on safe and efficient forklift operation as needed. • Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in forklift operation are preferred. Proven experience as a forklift driver or in a similar role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Valid forklift operator certification and a strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices. Ability to operate various types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach trucks) and other material handling equipment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage inventory effectively. Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other staff members. • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inventory management systems and warehouse management software. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required. Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings or weekends, as needed. • Why Join Us?
