Guildhall is collaborating with aninternational prominent logistics company to recruit a skilledDistribution Centre Supervisor in UAE. As a Distribution CentreSupervisor youll manage equipment and facilities lead the team forefficient operations optimize processes oversee inventorycoordinate with other departments ensure quality and safetystandards lead projects and monitor expenses to meet company goals.Responsibilities: Equipment and Facility Management: Responsiblefor the management of equipment and facilities within the operationcenter including freight equipment warehouse systems and relatedtechnologies. Team Management: Lead and manage the operation centerteam to ensure efficient operations and completion of tasks such assorting loading and distribution of goods. Process Optimization:Analyze and optimize the flow of goods increase efficiency reducecosts and ensure compliance with companyestablished standardoperating procedures. Inventory Management: Manage warehousing andinventory to ensure orderly storage of goods minimize errors andlosses and conduct regular inventory checks. Coordination andCommunication: Coordinate effectively with other departmentsespecially with transportation procurement and customer servicedepartments to ensure smooth operation of the entire logisticschain. Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of goods meetscompany standards and coordinate and resolve issues related togoods damage or loss. Safety Management: Responsible for safetymanagement of the operation center ensuring compliance withrelevant regulations and company safety policies. Responsible forleading fulfillment warehouse operation projects developcorresponding fulfillment warehouse operation models and organizeconstruction according to market and company needs. Developfulfillment warehouse development plans and work indicators andprovide solutions such as logistics (endtoend) improvementfulfillment warehouse layout planning and efficiency improvement.Responsible for monitoring the entire process data of inboundoutbound and fulfillment warehouse services ensuring that theoperation quality efficiency and cost of the fulfillment warehousemeet the companys goals. Develop work plans and businessdevelopment plans according to the companys strategic developmentplans periodically optimize and adjust to reduce company costs.Account for and monitor the expenses of the operation centerestablish a special system for labor costs and operating costsanalyze abnormal expenses in various regions (e.g. optimizeoutsourcing costs intermediary ranking assess intermediarieshighlight costeffectiveness). Onsite manpower deployment (mainlinebranch line small item area) manpower measurement and hourly wagecalculation.
Requirements
Qualifications: Experience: Extensivemanagement experience in logistics warehousing or related fieldsparticularly in managing operation centers. Leadership: Outstandingleadership and team management skills capable of inspiring teammotivation and fostering efficient collaboration. TechnicalKnowledge: Indepth understanding of logistics systems warehouseequipment and related technologies to effectively coordinate andresolve technical issues. Process Optimization: Ability to optimizeprocesses analyze and improve logistics and warehouse processes toenhance efficiency. Communication Skills: Excellent communicationand coordination abilities able to effectively communicate withemployees at all levels and management. Decisionmaking: Capable ofmaking sound decisions under pressure handling complex logisticsand operational issues. Safety Awareness: Strong safety awarenessable to develop and implement safety policies to ensure the safeoperation of the operation center. Team Collaboration: Possessing ateamoriented spirit able to coordinate cooperation betweendifferent departments and drive collaborative efforts across theentire operation center. Candidates should possess fluent Mandarincommunication skills to effectively engage and collaborate withinternal and external stakeholders.
