  • is seeking strategic, detail-orientedsoftware engineers to join our Quantitative Research team as aQuantitative Developer.
  • You'll be assisting our Head of QuantitativeResearch in creating and maintaining models for research projectsusing C++.
  • We're small, nimble, casual (no suits shoesoptional), and passionate about our mission and the projects wecreate.
  • Asa member of our Quantitative Research team, you will have trueownership over your projects from beginning to end, with anemphasis on accountability overmicromanagement.

Note:This position can beremote or on-site at our NYClocation in a hybrid capacity.Current NYC COVID laws require proof of vaccination upon entry tothe workplace. Candidates must be willing to accommodate currentNYC laws to be considered for work inNYC.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Quantitative Researchteam to develop software products using C++ andPython
  • Engineer new quantitative models and datapipelines in production code
  • Provide software prototyping support for newresearch ideas and maintain current softwareproducts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2 years of experienceprogramming in modern C++
  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science,Applied Mathematics, or similar engineeringdegree.
  • Experience with data processing, mathematicalsoftware, and an ability to analyze datasets andsoftware.
  • Experience with Python, Linux, SQL, AWS,Redis, Postgres, Git, Docker, orCMake
  • Experience with development infrastructureand setting up developmentenvironments.
  • Familiarity with Boost and Eigen C++libraries
  • Experience with quantitative modeling,statistics, or linear algebra
  • Familiarity with options orderivatives
  • Experience working with scientific ormathematical backend software ispreferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communicationskills with the ability to handle multiple projects atonce.
  • Ability to work independently and work in ateam to improve developmentprocesses.
