TheOpportunity:
As a PortfolioEngineer at Fisher Investments you have the opportunity to supportour Investment Policy Committee’s portfolio managementprocess by developing strategy and market expertise. You will workclosely with our Research Analysts, Trading and Implementationpeers and other Portfolio Engineers to develop expertise acrossaspects of portfolio management processes, including leadingrebalances and overseeing trade life cycles. In this highlyimpactful role, you will communicate your strategy expertise andinsights to internal clients and to the firm’s largest,most sophisticated clients and prospects, via client meetings andwritten/visual deliverables. You will report directly to thePortfolio Engineer Group Manager for support anddevelopment.
TheDay-to-Day:
- Monitor and evaluate portfoliopositioning and performance, with ad hoc elevations to theInvestment Policy Committee
- Work independentlyand with peers to create proactive proposals to improve strategyperformance
- Ensure all trading and rebalanceactivity accurately reflects the Investment PolicyCommittee’s expectations
- Communicateyour strategy expertise to internal and external clients andstakeholders
YourQualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a similarportfolio management role, including buy-side research and tradingexperience
- A demonstrated history ofcommunicating insights and creating portfolioimpacts
- Ability to manage and manipulate largedata sets, proficiency in financial datasystems
- Professional experience taking complextopics and breaking them down for others
- Youhave a desire to leverage your knowledge and skills to support ourclients
