Our client a large manufacturingcompany is looking for a Compliance Manager to be based in AbuDhabi UAE. In this role you will play a crucial role in ensuringthat our organization adheres to all relevant laws regulations andinternal policies. You will be responsible for developing andimplementing compliance programs policies procedures and monitoringthat mitigate risk protect the organizations reputation and supportour commitment to ethical and legal conduct. Other responsibilitieswould include but not limitedto:


  • Implement andmanage the delivery of the company s Ethics and ComplianceProgram.
  • Responsible for deliveringgeneralist and specialist compliance training groupwide inaccordance with the annual compliance trainingplan.
  • Undertake compliance relatedinvestigations as and whenrequired.
  • Engage in regular internalstakeholder management in accordance with the compliance engagementmodel.
  • Conduct regular riskassessment and control testing of key compliance risks most likelyto impact the group of companies anddivisions.
  • Support businessfunctions to remediate and mitigate identified compliancerisks.
  • Provide strategic complianceadvice to the company s international expansion program incompliance with international export control and sanctionsregulations.
  • Serve as a subjectmatter expert for internal stakeholders for all compliance relatedmatters.
  • Liaise with the ADX andSecurities and Commissions Authority building a trustedrelationship and cooperation.
  • Assistthe company with any compliance related matters procedures andprocesses ensuring best practice isfollowed.
  • Support the design andimplementation of new tools and techniques to continuously improvethe quality and delivery of Compliance services groupwide.

Requirements

Tobe considered for this role you must meet the followingrequirements:


  • Be professionallyqualified in a wellknown jurisdiction (such as but not exclusivelythe UK/Australia/US) with a bachelor s degree in law or relatedfield (master s degree preferred). Minimum 10 years PQE (minimum of5 years within the Middle East).
  • Beprofessionally certified in compliance or governance is aplus.
  • Have a minimum 5 years proventrack record in compliance roles in particular experience withdeveloping and implementing a compliance framework and programtraining plan communications plan training logetc.
  • Have a proven track record witha listed company and dealings with applicable exchange regulator(the ADX and SCA very much aplus).
  • Have a strong knowledge ofrelevant compliance (sanctions and export control) laws regulationsand compliance frameworks.
  • Haveexcellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmakingskills.
  • Be able to demonstratehaving operated at a senior level handling complex internationaland domestic region compliancematters.
  • Proven experience ininternal stakeholder management andengagement.
  • Possess outstandingwritten and verbal communication skills (English with Arabic aplus).
  • Be able to effectively planand manage multiple projects and demandingworkload.
  • Demonstrate proficiency inMicrosoft Word Excel Power Point and AdobeProfessional
  • Demonstrate knowledgeworking with restricted party screening andreporting.

Possess outstanding writtenand verbal communication skills (English, with Arabic a plus). Beable to effectively plan and manage multiple projects and demandingworkload. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Professional Demonstrate knowledge working withrestricted party screening and reporting.
