  • Manage all MEP aspectsof highrise building projects from initial planning and designthrough construction commissioning andhandover.
  • Collaborate witharchitects engineers consultants contractors and subcontractors todevelop MEP design concepts and specifications that meet projectrequirements and regulatorystandards.
  • Review and approve MEPdrawings plans and shop drawings to ensure accuracy compliance withdesign intent and coordination with otherdisciplines.
  • Coordinate theprocurement installation testing and commissioning of MEP systemsincluding HVAC electrical plumbing fire protection and otherrelated systems.
  • Monitor MEPconstruction activities to ensure compliance with project schedulesbudgets quality standards and safetyregulations.
  • Conduct regular siteinspections and quality control checks to identify and resolveMEPrelated issues and ensure workmanship meets industrystandards.
  • Manage MEP subcontractorsand vendors including bidding selection contract negotiation andperformance evaluation.
  • Implementvalue engineering initiatives and costsaving measures to optimizeMEP system performance andefficiency.
  • Provide technicalexpertise and guidance to project team members resolving MEPrelatedtechnical challenges and ensuring project objectives aremet.
  • Liaise with clients consultantsand regulatory authorities to address MEPrelated queries approvalsandinspections.


Requirements
  • Bachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or relatedfield.
  • Minimum of 810 years ofexperience in MEP management with a focus on highrise buildingprojects in the UAE or the Gulfregion.
  • Proven track record ofsuccessfully managing MEP systems in highrise buildings includingHVAC electrical plumbing and fire protectionsystems.
  • Thorough understanding ofMEP design principles codes standards and regulations applicable inthe UAE.
  • Strong project managementskills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliverprojects on time and withinbudget.
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholdersat all levelseffectively.
  • Proficiency in MEPsoftware tools such as AutoCAD Revit MEP and MEPspecificcalculation software.
  • Familiaritywith sustainability and green building principles including LEEDcertification requirements isdesirable.
  • Professionalcertification or licensure in MEP engineering isadvantageous.


Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, ElectricalEngineering, or related field. Minimum of 8-10 years of experiencein MEP management, with a focus on high-rise building projects inthe UAE or the Gulf region. Proven track record of successfullymanaging MEP systems in high-rise buildings, including HVAC,electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Thoroughunderstanding of MEP design principles, codes, standards, andregulations applicable in the UAE. Strong project managementskills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams anddeliver projects on time and within budget. Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact withstakeholders at all levels effectively. Proficiency in MEP softwaretools, such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MEP-specific calculationsoftware. Familiarity with sustainability and green buildingprinciples, including LEED certification requirements, isdesirable. Professional certification or licensure in MEPengineering is advantageous.
