As a Senior Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure software solutions that leverage cloud technologies for both bidding and development phases. Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales Support: Take charge of solution development, work breakdown structure development and corresponding estimation in bidding phase.
  • Architectural Design: Develop and maintain comprehensive software and cloud architecture strategies that support business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Solution Development: Design and implement end-to-end software solutions, including cloud-based applications, microservices, and APIs.
  • Cloud Integration: Lead the integration of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) into software solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in software development and cloud architecture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Software Solution Architect and Cloud Solution Architect.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native technologies.
  • Proficiency in software development languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and frameworks.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

    • Leading the design and architecture of cloud-based systems, ensuring that they meet both technical and business requirements.

  • Cloud Migration Strategy

    • Developing and implementing cloud migration strategies to move on-premise applications, data, and workloads to the cloud.
    • Planning and managing the migration process, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity during transitions.

  • Selecting Cloud Services and Tools

    • Evaluating and selecting cloud services from major providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services (AWS) , Microsoft Azure , Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ) based on business and technical needs.
    • Integrating cloud-native tools and services to ensure scalability, high availability, and automation.

  • Designing security protocols to protect sensitive data, applications, and infrastructure in the cloud.

  • Identifying and managing potential risks associated with cloud architectures, such as data breaches or downtime.
  • Creating disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans that leverage cloud technologies for rapid recovery.

Optimization and Performance Management

  • Monitoring and optimizing the performance of cloud systems to ensure they meet user demands and function with maximum efficiency.
  • Analyzing and adjusting cloud resource allocation to prevent over-provisioning or under-utilization of resources.

  • Implementing cost-effective cloud architectures, ensuring the organization gets maximum value for cloud spend.
  • Using tools such as AWS Cost Explorer , Azure Cost Management , or Google Cloud Billing to track and optimize cloud costs, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.

Scalability and Availability

  • Designing cloud solutions to scale dynamically based on user demand while maintaining high availability.
  • Leveraging services like auto-scaling , load balancing , and content delivery networks (CDNs) to ensure system reliability and performance.

Collaboration and Leadership

  • Working closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to understand requirements and design cloud solutions that align with organizational goals.
