Job Description-Senior Electrical Engineer Title :Senior Electrical Engineer Company :KBR Corporate Inhouse Engineering Location :Abu Dhabi UAE KBR Office Job Purpose Execute Electrical design activities within Concept FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and Detail Engineering for Oil & Gas projects. Ensure high-quality safe and timely delivery of Electrical design and related deliverables in accordance with project requirements international codes and standards. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and coordinate with multi-discipline teams and clients. Job Responsibilities Manage and handle detailed design and engineering activities for the project. Develop electrical specifications datasheets calculations and drawings in compliance with project requirements and standards. Review and approve electrical design plans and layouts. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and client to ensure the integration of electrical systems into the overall project design. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Attend site visit and inspection to ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards if required Collaborate with project managers to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met. Participate in project meetings to address electrical engineering related issues. Perform Technical Bid Evaluation and vendor document review. Functional Responsibilities Oversee the design installation and testing of electrical systems and equipment. Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets for electrical engineering activities. Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in electrical engineering. Technical Skills Proficiency in electrical design software and tools Strong knowledge of electrical codes standards and regulations Experience in designing and implementing electrical systems for O& G projects. Ability to perform electrical calculations and analysis. Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Attention to detail and accuracy in work. Qualification Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field Relevant experience (12) in electrical engineering for projects in the oil and gas industry What We Offer Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
