The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing all government relations, regulatory documentation, and statutory filings for all employees under the agreement between RAKBANK and HRM, with a primary focus on Ras Al Khaimah. The role ensures full compliance with UAE federal and local laws, supports HR-related government processes, and works closely with Group Legal to maintain regulatory standing in line with banking governance standards. What You’ll Be Doing: Serve as the primary point of contact with Ras Al Khaimah and federal authorities, including MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, RAKDED, RAK Courts, free zone authorities (as applicable), and other government bodies. Manage regulatory filings for the subsidiary. Maintain establishment cards, immigration files, and labor registrations. Coordinate document attestations, notarizations, and official translations as required. Ensure compliance with UAE labor law and immigration regulations for all employee-related government matters. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee grievance trackers. Support onboarding and offboarding processes from a government compliance perspective. Support the Legal function with regulatory correspondence. Track renewal dates and compliance deadlines, ensuring timely action and escalation of risks. Assist with responses to government notices, inspections, or routine regulatory inquiries. Maintain organized records for audit, regulatory, and internal governance purposes. Ensure strict confidentiality of employee, corporate, and group banking information. Adhere to CBUAE governance standards, internal policies, and data protection requirements. Comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and reporting obligations applicable to HRM and other subsidiaries where applicable. Operate within approved authorities and escalation frameworks. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of either PRO or Paralegal experience in the UAE, with demonstrated experience dealing with Ras Al Khaimah authorities. Experience within banking, financial services, or other regulated sectors is preferred. Proficiency in Arabic and English is a must. Skills: Strong knowledge of UAE labor law, immigration regulations, and government procedures. Hands‑on experience with MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, and Ras Al Khaimah government portals. Familiarity with governance, audit, and compliance requirements within regulated entities. Proficient in document management systems and MS Office applications. Integrity & Ethics: Demonstrates high ethical standards and confidentiality. Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and completeness in all documentation. Accountability: Takes ownership of responsibilities and outcomes. Communication: Communicates clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
