  • To assist in maintaining the pool inimpeccable cleaning conditions with minor work such as removal ofsmall floating objects which might have fallen during theday.
  • A mandatory presence near the pool from06.30 am to 10.00 pm (1 hour provided for meal). Moreover, If andwhen the life saver needs to leave his work area he should first dothe following “
  • Always insure thatthe pool remains under the supervision of qualified and/orauthorised personnel.
  • Inform the FitnessManager or FitnessInstructor
  • When on thehotel ground always reflect a professional image including completeuniform as per hotel standard.
  • All movements atthe pools must be registered in a logbook; this logbook must becollected at the security office in the morning and return to thesecurity office in the evening.
  • To provideswimming lessons, if requested (subject to superior’sapproval).
  • To reinforce pool rules at alltimes
  • To ensure that the hygienic condition ofthe pool is respected by everyone.
  • To remainphysically fit and refresh continuously life saving techniques asper job requirements the life saver will be required to performspecific exercises as per established scheduledtraining.
  • To continuously maintain and serviceall equipment related, or assigned, to the department, as specifiedin equipment manuals.
  • To be aware of scheduledfunctions, group, or VIP arrivals and specialevents.
  • To be flexible with work hours,regardless of time, during day, or night, in order to personallyfacilitate security arrangements of cases that require specialtreatment and handling.
  • To project at all timesa positive and motivated attitude and exercise selfcontrol.
  • To respond to any changes in theFitness and Security Department function as dictated by thehotel.
