As a Consultant Cardiologist youwill specialize in the diagnosis treatment and management ofcardiovascular diseases. You will provide expert cardiac care topatients utilizing a combination of clinical assessment diagnostictesting medical therapy and procedural interventions. Yourexpertise will contribute to optimizing patient outcomes promotingcardiovascular health and advancing the field of cardiology withinourinstitution.

  • Conductcomprehensive evaluations of patients with cardiovascularcomplaints including chest pain shortness of breath palpitationsandfatigue.
  • Performdetailed clinical assessments including medical history reviewphysical examination and interpretation of diagnostic tests such aselectrocardiography (ECG) echocardiography stress testing cardiaccatheterization and cardiac imagingstudies.
  • Developand implement individualized treatment plans tailored to eachpatients specific cardiac condition incorporating medical therapylifestyle modifications and interventional procedures asappropriate.
  • Performinterventional cardiology procedures such as cardiaccatheterization percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) coronaryangioplasty stent placement and structural heart interventionsutilizing the latest techniques andtechnologies.
  • Providecounseling and education to patients and their families regardingcardiovascular diseases risk factors treatment options andlifestyle modifications to promote heart health and prevent diseaseprogression.
  • Collaboratewith multidisciplinary teams including cardio thoracic surgeonselectrophysiologists cardiac rehabilitation specialists and primarycare physicians to coordinate comprehensive care for patients withcomplex cardiacconditions.
  • Participatein oncall coverage schedules to provide timely evaluation andmanagement of cardiac emergencies such as acute myocardialinfarction arrhythmias heart failure exacerbations and cardiacarrest.
  • Engagein clinical research and scholarly activities to advance theunderstanding and treatment of cardiovascular diseases contributingto the academic mission of the institution and dissemination ofknowledge in the field ofcardiology.
  • Maintainaccurate and timely documentation of patient encounters treatmentplans and outcomes in electronic medical records in compliance withregulatory requirements and institutionalpolicies.
    Participate in quality improvement initiativesto enhance the delivery of cardiac care optimize patient safety andimprove patientsatisfaction.



RequirementsExperienceFrom US (Board) Canada (Royal College Fellowship) UK (CCT) Ireland(CSD CSCST) Australia &NZ (Fellowship) France (DES DESC)And Other European Countries According to The QualificationEquivalence Tables of the UAEMOH
Minimum 2 to 3 yearsexperience in a hospital environment Western and Asian countriesexperience is preferred. Asians with Gulf experience ispreferred.
Proficiencyin performing interventional cardiologyprocedures including cardiac catheterizationandPCI.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Officesuite
Fluency in written andspoken English
MOH registeredPreferred
Ability to multitaskprioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fastpacedenvironment.
Willing to workflexible hours as and whenrequired

Languages EnglishArabicPreferred
