We are looking for a new principal to joinour team and foster a healthy learning environment for ourstudents. Your primary responsibilities will be to supervise oureducation staff and oversee daytoday school operations.

To succeed in this role you should be able to make quickdecisions under pressure and have a comprehensive understanding ofthe national education system and its regulations. Excellentcommunication and organizational abilities are also importantskills you should demonstrate as a principal.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daytoday school operations
  • Manage school logistics and budgets
  • Set learning goals for students and teachers based onnational curricula
  • Monitor and report onteacher performance
  • Present data from schoolperformance to board members
  • Research newresources and techniques to improve teaching
  • Interview and hire school personnel
  • Review and implement school policies
  • Provide guidance and counseling to teachers
  • Handle emergencies and school crises
  • Organize school events and assemblies
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for students (e.g.implementing hygiene rules)
  • Attend conferencesto gain knowledge on current educational trends
Requirements

Qualifications and Experience Required for ADEKApproval:
Principal Role:
Schoolbased rolewith the highest level of responsibility for leadership andmanagement.
All staff report to thePrincipal.

Minimum Eligibility:
Candidates must match one of the following eligibilityprofiles:

Profile 1:
MainQualification: QFE 9 (Master’s Degree) in EducationalLeadership
Experience:
8 years in educationincluding:
5 years of teaching AND
2 years asVice Principal OR
3 years as a Senior Leader

Profile 2:
Main Qualification: QFE 9(Master’s Degree) in any subject
AdditionalQualification: Coursework in educational and/or organizationalleadership
Experience:
8 years in educationincluding:
5 years of teaching AND
2 years asVice Principal OR
3 years as a Senior Leader

Profile 3:
Main Qualification: QFE 7(Bachelor’s Degree) in any subject
AdditionalQualification: Coursework in educational and/or organizationalleadership
Experience:
10 years in educationincluding:
5 years of teaching AND
2 years asVice Principal OR
4 years as a Senior Leader

Additional Requirements:
EducationalLeadership Standards Assessment and/or other relevant validlicenses.
Minimum 8 years of leadership experiencepreferably as Principal or Vice Principal.
Provensuccess in managing diverse teams.
Experience inimplementing innovative teaching aligned with UKcurriculum.
Familiarity with UK curriculum developmentand assessment processes.

UAE Experience andCultural Competence:
Substantial experience in UAEeducation sector.
Indepth knowledge of UAE culture normsand educational landscape.
Understanding of ADEKinspection processes and compliance.
Ability to engageeffectively with UAE parents and stakeholders.

Nationality:
UK or Ireland nationalityrequired.
