Support Engineer – Dubai (Hybrid, Client-Facing Role) Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Employment Type: Full-time | Hybrid (with regular on-site client visits) Salary Range: AED 6,000 – 9,000 per month (depending on experience) About the Role Postremo IT is seeking a technically skilled and client-focused Support Engineer to join our Dubai team. This hybrid position combines hands‑on technical delivery with direct client engagement, including on‑site troubleshooting, requirements gathering, and participation in pre‑sales activities. The role offers exposure to diverse IT environments across the UAE, UK, and USA, providing the opportunity to work with a growing international client base. You will play a key role in maintaining high service standards, resolving technical issues efficiently, and contributing to the design of tailored technology solutions. Responsibilities Provide technical support and assistance to end users via phone, email, and in-person engagement. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on Windows and macOS platforms, ensuring minimal downtime. Install, configure, and maintain computers, systems, networks, printers, and scanners. Conduct regular security and software updates to maintain system integrity. Collaborate with internal IT teams to address complex technical challenges and improve service delivery. Deliver daily operational and systems support, verifying functionality and addressing issues promptly. Work with senior management in client requirements gathering and pre‑sales discussions, identifying technical needs and supporting solution proposals. Communicate technical information clearly and confidently to non-technical users. Balance independent work with teamwork, managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications Proven experience in Technical Support, Systems Administration, or IT Infrastructure, ideally within a managed service or consulting environment. Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, networking, and cloud‑based systems. Demonstrated ability to engage with clients, gather requirements, and contribute to solution design. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of client‑facing interaction. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, or Cisco are advantageous. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
