Roles and responsibilities

JobPurpose

The MEP Draughtsman isresponsible for preparing, modifying and analyzing technicaldrawings of MEP projects including HVAC, Fire Protection, Lighting,Small Power, ELV systems, Plumping and Drainage installations byusing sophisticated software tools for drafting like AutoCAD,REVIT, BIM and Micro station

JobResponsibilities

  • P

    repareschedules for the generation of drawings in line with therequirement of MEP Projectsschedules.

  • R

    eview the tenderdrawings and assess the drafting works involved in the project andprepare the time line for completion of detailed design drawingsand shop drawings.

  • M

    anagethe drawings related works to meet the project targets by regularlymonitoring and reporting the progress ofworks.

  • P

    repare, modify andanalyze Mechanical, Electrical, Plumping and Drainage Projectsdrawings by using software tools like AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM and Microstation

  • C

    losely coordinatewith Design Manager, Estimation Engineers, Site Engineers andProject Managers for collection of inputs and review ofdrawings.

  • C

    oordination withClient drafting team in the case of any interface discussions orclarifications during various phases of theproject.

  • C

    ollaborate withthe ESCO team to incorporate energy-saving measures in the drawingsrelatedworks.

    iplomain Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with 3 year experience inMEP project drawing preparation with software tools like AutoCAD,REVIT, BIM and Microstation

Experience

  • Diplomain Mechanical / Electrical Engineering:
  • Minimum3 years of experience in MEP projects drawings preparation worksfor residential and commercial towers and industrialbuildings.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in MEPprojects drawings preparation works for residential and commercialtowers and industrial buildings in UAE or any other GCCcountries.
  • ESCO industry experiencepreferred.
