Teacher of French and Spanish – Jumeirah College, Dubai We are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages for Jumeirah College, Dubai. This appointment is for a September 2026 start. Job Description Jumeirah College is a GEMS Premium Secondary School that delivers the National Curriculum for England, offering the full range of GCSE and A Level courses. The student body is a dynamic international community of over 1,600 students from more than 62 nationalities. The school is known for its outstanding exam results and its commitment to developing cultural and global awareness. The School Our students consistently achieve exceptional results: in % of GCSE results were 9-4 and 67 % were 7-9; over 41 % of A Level grades were A*/A and more than 90 % were A*-C. Jumeirah College is regularly rated ‘Outstanding’, is a member of BSME and COBIS and has been shortlisted for awards such as ‘International School of the Year’ by TES. Role Focus We would particularly welcome applications from dual linguists able to teach French and Spanish at GCSE, with the subject knowledge and expertise to teach at least one of these languages to A Level. The successful candidate will join an exceptional and highly successful department and may have the opportunity to take on a leadership position within the department. Department Achievements (June 2025) A Level French: 100 % A–B, including 50 % A. GCSE French: 85 % grade 9–8 and 100 % grade 9–6. GCSE Spanish: 39 % grade 9–8 and 93 % grade 9–6.
