Job Summary

We arelooking for an experienced Safety Advisor to join our ProjectManagement team. Our PMT is renowned for delivering toptier capitalprojects and the Safety Advisor will be central to maintaining thehighest standards of safety and compliance across our diverse andcomplex projects.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Assess and report on contractor compliance withOccupational Health Safety and Environmental (HSE)requirements.
  • Conduct safety briefings andpreconstruction meetings to emphasize construction execution safetystandards.
  • Track and analyze Key PerformanceIndicators to identify improvement opportunities in safetyperformance.
  • Develop and deliver safetytraining programs.
  • Offer advice andconsultation to ensure a safe working environment in line withenvironmental/safety regulations and standards.
  • Identify evaluate and develop controls for workplacehazards.
  • Conduct site inspections to auditphysical conditions and work practices.
  • Provide guidance on corporate safety regulations andprocedures.
  • Perform safety complianceinspections and prepare detailed reports andrecommendations.
  • Develop safety orientationsand training materials and conduct specialized trainingsessions.
  • Assist in new employee safetyorientations and participate in safety committeemeetings.
  • Analyze incident data to formulatecorrective actions to minimize hazards.
  • Recommend safety equipment and implement corporate safetyand environmental requirements.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to relocate toDhahran Saudi Arabia.
  • Bachelorsdegree in engineering safety engineering industrial hygieneenvironmental science or a related field (advanced degreepreferred).
  • Twelve (12) years of experience inheavy construction safety ideally in the oil/gas or petrochemicalconstruction industry.
  • Proven ability indelivering handson health safety and environmentaltraining.
  • Strong capabilities in developingand implementing comprehensive health and safetyprograms.
  • Excellent communication skills foreffective training presentations and report writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word ExcelPowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with HSE standardsconcepts practices and procedures.
  • Ability towork effectively at all organizational levels and in diverseteams.
