Senior Art Director

Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under its umbrella – SALT, Parker's, Grind, Somewhere, Public, Soil and Kumo. We are presently seeking to hire a highly qualified Senior Art Director who will bring a mix of artistic, marketing, and business expertise to the position with a natural eye for design and a passion for delivering dynamic ideas that connect with any audience. Someone who will determine how to best represent the creative director's concept, determine which artistic elements to use, articulate the vision to the Design Team, review and approve designs and other visual mediums, and develop budgets and timelines. A director who can also inspire and be inspired by others to take our creative efforts to the next level. Key Responsibilities Work with other members of the creative team to evaluate the brand's needs, develop project strategies, and create visual elements for cohesive and effective campaigns. Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience to ideate and develop innovative marketing campaigns. Responsible for all pre-production meetings for projects and campaigns. Produce initial mood boards, presentations, storyboards, content direction, art layouts based on creative visions & ideas. Present completed ideas to MDs, brand partners & creative team members. Develop the overall style of a project and communicate it to the team. Selects, review and approve which design, visual art, or other elements to use. Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines, ensuring schedules are accurate and realistic. Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and creative team members and provide directions to bring concepts, presentations and ideas to life. Conduct research to understand brand objectives, target markets, and industry trends.
