Job Summary
We areseeking a Business Development Specialist to join the companydivision of the LTC Business & Project Development Departmentto set up the LP and economics model 3rd party Build Own Operationevaluation model and project financing as well as interfacemanagement amongst groups with technical execution commercial SMEs.The Division is primarily responsible for SMC Project Developmentunder This Company In Kingdom Liquids to Chemicals Program (IK LTC)and drive the development of project assessment and the delivery ofproject requirements through FEL I FEL II and FEL III. SMC capitalprogram is a refinery residue upgrade integrated with petrochemicalsteam cracker complex to be built in Yanbu western region of SaudiArabia. It is a part of This Company InKingdom Liquids To Chemicals(IK LTC) program which includes similar projects to be developed atthe same time. Business Development Specialist will be reporting tothe Manager and work closely with modeling and optimizationengineer and other project members.
Responsibilities:
- Align the details and basis/assumptions of theeconomics model and LP (Linear Programming).
- Provide the economics parameters including the NetPresent Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR).
- Ensure internal alignment among shareholders andconcerned parties on economics parameters.
- Develop the economics for the ValueAdd and CapitalEfficiency items and provide necessary details for commercialassessment.
- Assess Chemical Competitivenessand provide insights on options to improve overalleconomics.
- Establish and assess various marketscenarios to support and enhance the Project Value.
- Define and participate in Case Study deliverables and keyoptimization initiatives for the overall facilitiesscope.
- Develop cost estimates schedule andtrack the development of Gate deliverables required for Managementapproval.
- Identify items that require furthersupport to meet the target date.
- Interface andinteract with Government Engagement GHG Abatement Finance ReadinessWorkstreams and Project Development Group.
- Collaborate with Government Engagement Workstream todetermine the economic impact on job creation and GDP in theKingdom.
- Update the figures in each phase andensure alignment with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
- Bachelors degree inEngineering from a recognized and approved program.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Refining &Chemicals business.
- Previous experience inLinear Programming (LP) and Economics Modeling.
- Execution commercial and project financingexperience.
- Experience in new businessdevelopment specifically in evaluating and selecting thirdpartyBOO/BOOT (BuildOwnOperate/BuildOwnOperateTransfer)projects.
- Experience in infrastructurethirdparty and interface management.
- Experience in developing scopes for thirdparty BOO/BOOTprojects.
- Proficient in technical interfacemanagement.
