Theresponsibilities of the Connected Vehicle Sr Software Developerinclude but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop cloudbased connected vehicle services andfeatures
  • Design,code, test, and own cloud-basedapplications that deal with real-timeevent-based data as well as large amount of streamingdata
  • Solvecomplex technical problems using industry best practices whilebeing compliant to enterprise securitypolicies
  • Buildcloud-based REST APIs and micro services usingserverless cloudtechnologies
  • Useagile methodologies and Test-Driven Development(TDD) to realize the technicalsolution
  • Collaboratewith product owners and business analysts to identify minimalviable product and support user storiesdefinition
  • Debugperformance issues in large scale distributedsystems
  • SetTechnical Direction and coordination for JuniorDevelopers
  • Developautomation, monitoring, and debuggingtools
  • Drivecontinuous improvement through code reviews, monitoring, and defectanalysis

BasicQualifications:

  • BachelorsDegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, ElectricalEngineering orequivalent
  • 6to 9 years of programming experience in a professionalenvironment
  • Minimumof 3 years of experience in API and Micro servicesdevelopment
  • Softwaredevelopment experience in one or more high level programminglanguages and frameworks (Languages: Java, Node.JS,Python)z
  • Experienceworking with streams based technologies (Kafka,Kinesis)
  • Experiencewith DevOps tools (Git, Gradle/Maven, Jenkins, Jira)and Test Driven Development(TDD)
  • Experiencewith Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud servicesincluding AWS certification Experience with Node.js andReact
  • Experienceworking in a Continuous Integration & Deliverymodel
  • Experienceworking with large scale distributedsystems
  • Strongwritten and oral communicationskills
  • Motivatedto learn newtechnologies
  • Strongproblem solving and organizationskills
  • Exhibitflexibility, prioritization, and the ability tomultitask
