Information Technology Security Officer

- To establish and maintain acorporate-wide information cyber security management program andensure that information assets are adequatelyprotected.
2. Primary DutiesPerformed
- Develop, implement andmonitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information securityand IT risk managementprogram;
- Work directlywith the CTO and all IT functions to facilitate cyber security andrisk assessment and itsprocesses;
- Evaluate the ITthreat landscape to reduce risk, leading auditing, and complianceinitiatives,
- Assist inimplementation of the IT Cyber Security strategies, policies andprocedures;
- Prepare thedocumentation for the IT Cyber Security reports andguidelines;
- Develop andenhance an information security managementframework;
- Monitor,maintain and administrate the IT security devices (such asFirewalls, Cor Switches, Web filtering, Spam Filtering devices...etc.) in coordination with IT Infrastructure and Cloud Unit toensure no threats impacting the operations of thesedevices.
- Understand andinteract with related disciplines through committees to ensure theconsistent application of policies and standards across alltechnology projects, systems andservices;
- Partner withbusiness stakeholders across INDEX Holding group to raise theawareness of Cyber Security risk management concerns by conductingthe required training andworkshops;
- Assists withthe overall business technology planning, providing a currentknowledge and future vision of technology andsystems.
- Manage andmaintain cyber security incident management and trackaccordingly;
- Review theaudit reports and assist to tackle the security issues raised bythe auditors.
- Conduct aperiodic security check on all the relevant IT systems and servicesthat are running inproduction.
- Conduct aperiodic penetration testing to the relevant technologies that arerunning inproduction.
- Conduct aperiodic vulnerability assessment to the relevant technologies thatare running inproduction.
- Perform aperiodic check of the backup restoration practice in INDEX holdingto ensure the consistency of the backup data andintegration;
- Assist incontrolling IT related risk by advising management and functionalunits on all IT policies andprocedures;
- Ensure theconfidentiality and protection of corporate data, proprietaryinformation and intellectualproperty;
- Check theupdates on the systems to ensure the patch management with thelatest patches and upgrades on a regularbasis;
- Assist in managingthe crisis situations, involving complex technical hardware orsoftware problems and ensure adequate provision for businesscontinuity and disasterrecovery;
- Ensuring thatINDEX Holding is adaptable to evolving cyber security complianceregulations.
- Solicit,study and evaluate all IT Projects Plans to ensure risk loweffectiveness, in addition, identify and develop risk analysis andsupervise risk management for the ITdepartment;
- Undertake suchother tasks as and when required by the Chief TechnologyOfficer.
