Lead Electrical Instrumentation Engineer

1) Carrying out detail designing ofinstrument and Electrical (MCC) control systems, associated, andnot limited to design documents (D&ID, I/O List,instrumentation and control wiring diagram, Instrument Data Sheets,Material Data Sheets, SLD, Load List, MCCdesign.

2) Review of Instrument and controlequipment specifications, vendor drawings and equipment includingdesign calculations.

3) Ensure all Electrical andInstrumentation documentation is fully coordinated with mechanicaldiscipline before they are formally submitted toclient.

4) Act as a multidiscipline coordinatorbetween electrical and instrumentation and mechanicalteam.

5) Development and maintenance ofInstrumentation and control design/engineeringdocuments.

6) Detail design and checks of hook updrawings, UCP, panel drawings, functional design specifications,control, philosophies, I/O list, ducting and instrumentationdiagrams, instrument list, HMI screens, controlsystems.

7) Participation in design reviews,HAZOP, and other safety studies and contribute to the design toensure design complies with all HSE standards.

8)Production of hook up drawings, system architecture drawing andreview and approval of vendor system packages.

9)Review or provide support to multi-discipline reviews of Vendorengineering work to provide technical assurance, confirm adequacyof design and ensure compliance with Contractrequirements.

10) Provide technical support forequipment selection and design as required.

11)Ensure proper and accurate documentation is provided and maintainedthrough life cycle of the project.

12) Carry outoperability, maintainability and constructability reviews andassess requirement design.

13) Coordinate designand liaise with client on matters relating to the design of controland communication systems, general arrangement drawing, data sheetand control and instrumentationequipment/systems.

14) Participate ininstrumentation and control co-ordination meetings to resolvetechnical matters with client and internal multi-disciplineengineering teams.

15) Coordinate instrumentationand control works associated with 3D Modelling and resolveinterface issues with other disciplines. Smart plant(SPI/SPEL/SPPID) knowledge to coordinate with engineers to preparerequired documentation required.

16) Prepare costestimates, budgets, and scope of works.

17)Project management skill for planning to meet the deliverydeadlines.

18) Attending technical reviewmeetings internal and external meetings.

19) Anyother tasks that may be requested by the line manager from time totime
