The Director of Nursing isresponsible for managing the development and operations of theLicense Vocational Nursing They must have the ability to usediscretion and independent judgment with respect to the supervisionof the faculty, institution personnel, program management, and Andconsistently develop partnerships with healthcare organizations,physicians, and medical ;

GeneralJob Duties

• Administer LVN educational programs in compliance withprogram design and standards of the Board of License VocationalNursing and the California Board for private post-secondary ;

• The Director of Nursingmust successfully facilitate the NCLEX assessment program reviewand ensure compliance by working directly with the collegedepartments

• Maintainstandards set by the Board of License Vocational Nursing andPsychiatric Technicians set for the NCLEX board examination with apass rate of 80% or better on an ongoing quarterly basis andproviding intervention when ;

• Direct and coordinate in developing and maintaining courseoutlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, test and other coursematerials as well as the simulated clinical ;

• Assist with the marketing, evaluation, andacceptance of individuals into the nursing

• Prepares and administersthe ;

• Assist campusmanagement with supervision and mentoring of Nursing ;

• Take all steps reasonable andnecessary to maintain an adequate number of qualified faculty todevelop and implement the program to achieve the program missionand ;

• Supervise thoseresponsible for coordinating clinical rotations with varioushealthcare facilities throughout the community and performoversight of students and faculty prior to placement as well asexecute evaluations and paperwork with students and faculty upon;

• Direct, assist andcoordinate the participation of nursing faculty in curriculumand/or textbook reviews, revisions and development and overseetheir committee ;

• Maintain and facilitate regular interactionwith campus management to ensure institutional continuity andadherence to accreditation standards within the Nursing

• Work with external constituenciessuch as the Advisory Council, key administrators at health carefacilities, and other appropriate bodies to develop and maintainstrong linkages between High Desert Medical College, the nursingprogram, and the ;

Education and/or Experience
Master’s Degree or Higher froman accredited school
Hold a current California activelicense as a Registered ;
Have a minimum of (2) twoyears experience as a Registered Nurse

Pay Rate/ Incentive
