Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced andvisionary Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement ofour mobile app. As a Product Owner, you will be the driving forcebehind the product’s vision, strategy, and execution,ensuring that our app delivers exceptional value to users whilemeeting business objectives with complete P&Lresponsibility.

Responsibilities

  • ProductVision & Strategy: Define and communicatethe product vision and strategy for the mobile app, aligning withcompany goals and marketneeds.
  • RoadmapDevelopment: Develop and manage the product roadmap,setting clear priorities and milestones for feature releases andenhancements.
  • StakeholderCollaboration: Work closely with internalstakeholders including engineering, design, marketing, and customersupport to gather requirements, set expectations, and ensurealignment.
  • User-CanteredDesign: Advocate for the user experience, usinginsights from customer feedback, market research, and analytics todrive product decisions andimprovements.
  • BacklogManagement: Create, prioritize, and maintain theproduct backlog, ensuring that the development team has a clearunderstanding of user stories and acceptancecriteria.
  • AgileMethodology: Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprintplanning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring effectivecommunication and collaboration within the developmentteam.
  • PerformanceMonitoring: Monitor and analyse key performanceindicators (KPIs) and user metrics to assess the app’sperformance and identify areas foroptimization.
  • MarketAnalysis: Stay informed about industry trends,competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to driveinnovation and maintain a competitiveedge.
  • RiskManagement: Identify potential risks and developmitigation strategies to address challenges and ensure successfulproduct delivery.
  • RevenueDelivery: Setting your team's goals, successmetrics, and roadmap to align with ARIE’s mission anddrive maximum impact based on data analysis, market research, andcompany strategy and own the overall P&L for the appbusiness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree inbusiness, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanceddegree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years ofexperience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within thefintech or mobile app industry.
  • Proven trackrecord of managing the full product lifecycle from concept tolaunch.
  • Strong understanding of financialtechnologies, mobile app development, and user experienceprinciples.
  • Excellent communication,leadership, and collaborationskills.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies andtools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
  • Ability to analyzedata and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strategicthinker with a passion for innovation andproblem-solving.
  • Adaptable and able to thrivein a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
