Position Purpose As a Head of Housekeeping, you will uphold the exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards of The Arts Club. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring all club areas—public spaces to private rooms—receive impeccable care, especially high‑end textiles, fabrics, and furnishings. Essential Functions / Daily Duties Supervise, train, and inspire the housekeeping team to deliver outstanding cleanliness and organization. Ensure luxury fabrics—drapes, upholstery, delicate linens—are treated with utmost care, implementing specialized cleaning and care procedures. Source and select the best chemicals and cleaning agents for high‑end textiles and furnishings. Ensure all products are safe, effective, and appropriate for luxury materials. Inspect all areas regularly to guarantee the highest levels of cleanliness and address any issues promptly. Manage the club’s laundry services, overseeing uniforms and linens, ensuring efficient and timely third‑party service. Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies, cleaning products, linens, and equipment, ensuring efficient use while maintaining quality standards. Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless service, particularly for special events or member requests. Control inventory levels for cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, maintaining efficiency without compromising quality. Handle member inquiries or complaints related to housekeeping, resolving them with the highest level of service. Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for members and staff. Maintain floral displays throughout public areas, coordinating with florists to source high‑quality flowers that align with the club’s aesthetic. Qualifications 4 years proven experience as a Head of Housekeeping in a luxury environment (hotel, private club, or similar). Expertise in caring for high‑end textiles, fabrics, and furnishings. Knowledge of floral arrangement maintenance and ability to manage presentation in public areas. Experience managing laundry services, including uniform care and third‑party providers. Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with experience managing and training teams. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment.
