Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our organization. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes. Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support business decisions. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external auditors. Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial reporting processes. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff. Assist in budgeting and strategic financial planning. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA is highly preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role. Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
