The Digital Forensic Investigator is responsible for performing specific investigative and enforcement duties relating to examining the suitability of applicants for licensing relating to gaming operators and related vendors, employees, and qualifiers under the jurisdiction of the GCGRA. Investigative work includes, but is not limited to review of integrity, honesty, good character, and reputation; a review of work and personal history, integrity, and background; and a review of business practices and the ability to establish and maintain a compliant gaming operation. The Digital Forensic Investigator is responsible for establishing and maintaining professional relationships with the operators and managers of gaming facilities. The role also works closely with other gaming regulatory agencies and law enforcement agencies. The Digital Forensic Investigator conducts regulatory investigations and prepares complex, detailed reports. The successful candidate will lead investigations into potential violations of gaming regulations, enforce compliance with gaming laws.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage investigations into potential violations of gaming laws, regulations, and policies.
  2. Conduct thorough and timely investigations, including gathering and analyzing evidence, conducting interviews, and preparing reports.
  3. Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and other regulatory bodies as needed.
  4. Develop and implement enforcement strategies to ensure compliance with gaming laws and regulations.
  5. Manage a team of investigators, including providing direction, guidance, and training.
  6. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with gaming licensees and other stakeholders.
  7. Provide advice and guidance to other staff members regarding investigations and enforcement matters.
  8. Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  9. Review complaints from the public, licensees, and public officials and takes actions as appropriate.
  10. Provide testimony to any appropriate hearing or court.
  11. Build constructive working relationships characterized by a high level of acceptance, integrity, cooperation, and mutual regard.
  12. Possess a working knowledge of all GCGRA bylaws, policies, and procedures and enforce the same.
  13. Promote the activities of GCGRA programs and goals to ensure GCGRA objectives align with applicable laws, bylaws, and policies.
  14. Identify and manage outside consultants that the GCGRA may retain to assist with compliance programs that may be required.
  15. Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Investigations.
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferably Arabic speaking.
A bachelor's degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or a related field. Advanced law enforcement experience may substitute for the degree requirement.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in gaming regulation, law enforcement, or a related field.
