Support management during the main biddingprocess, including evaluating and evaluating bids, evaluating riskfactors, and estimating material, equipment, and manpowerneeds.
Study, analyze and evaluate bidding documents forhard and soft services to identify risk factors and coordinate withdepartment heads/principal engineer for comprehensive riskassessment and bidding decision making.
Lead and managethe development of high-quality submissions, including clientpre-qualification, presentations, and associateddocumentation.
Inquire, consult and coordinate withclients/their representatives for specifications/clarificationsrequired for tenders and commercial offers.
Survey sitesand participate in initial, intermediate and final bid meetings (ifnecessary).
Present bidding aspects - risk factors,bidding decisions, all bidding related issues and concerns duringmonthly management meetings.
Prepare technical andcommercial proposals in accordance with RFP requirements, includingbid executive summary, company introduction, bid organizationtable, methodology statement for each service (e.g. hard and softservices), mobilization and relocation plan, manpower/resourcechart, training plan, quality management, health Safety,etc.
Request and follow up on required special serviceproviders, equipment manufacturers and material suppliers duringbidding in accordance with RFP requirements to achieve costefficiencies.
Review and complete project cost estimatesregarding materials required (e.g. spare parts and consumables)according to bills of quantities (BOQ), quantity of work,material/equipment and manpower requirements during the tenderstage; This includes all systems, products and services as perclient specifications/requirements as per RFP.
Win newbusiness by developing client relationships focused on solutionsthat deliver business excellence for both clients andcontractors.
Ensure compliance with all sales monitoringand reporting activities.
Negotiating with approvedsuppliers/suppliers and under-sourcing contractors for specialservices/materials as per RFP requirements.
Estimatemanpower, spare parts and consumables required for hard and softservices as per RFP requirements.
Complete estimate andcompile cost sheet and bid documents for management review andapproval.
Provide all necessaryclarifications/information for the project when awarding it to theproject engineer and team according to the projectbudget
