Ourclient specializing in aerialhydraulic platforms is urgently recruiting qualified a highlyexperienced Level1 Senior AWPTechnician to be part of theirdynamic team. Candidate must have the flexibility in terms of worklocation as the role is to be based in Dubai or in AbuDhabi.


JobResponsibilities:

  • Performa diverse range of tasks related to the maintenance and repair ofAerial Work Platforms(AWPs).
  • Conductpreventive maintenance on AWPs following manufacturerrecommendations and Manlift serviceschedules.
  • Prepareand maintain accurate written records and reports whileinterpreting plans and specifications asneeded.
  • Providecourteous responses to customer inquiries within the designatedscope ofresponsibilities
  • Worksafely and adhere to established safety protocols and procedures inaccordance with TMW (The Manlift Way)standards.
  • Maintaina clean and safe work environment strictly adhering to bestpractice safetyprocedures.
  • Cultivatepositive customer relations through professionalinteractions
  • Safelymaintain and repair a variety of Aerial Work Platforms andassociated equipment incorporating mechanical diesel electrical andelectronicsystems.
  • Installand repair mechanical hydraulic and electrical components such ashydraulic cylinders engine parts switches andcontrollers.
  • Disassembledevices to access and replace defective parts meticulouslyexamining parts forimperfections.
  • Lubricateand clean parts conducting performance tests before and afterrepair.
  • Operaterepair equipment and parts according to prescribedprocedures.
  • Diagnoseissues conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot faults inalignment with manufacturer and Manliftrequirements.
  • Generatedetailed "Field Service reports" and"service work orders" outlining maintenance tasksfaults identified and resourcesutilized.
  • Maintainservice vehicles in a clean and professionalcondition.
  • Conductinspections on used parts to identify imperfections or dimensionalchanges making necessary adjustments orreplacements.
  • Installspecialized functional and structural parts inequipment.
  • Interpretschematic drawings service manuals and partsmanuals.
  • Calibrateequipment using electronic aids and programmablecontrollers.
  • Troubleshootand inspect machines for mechanical electrical and hydraulic faultsandmalfunctions.
  • Workindependently or lead a team in major repair and maintenanceprojects.
  • Remainflexible in responding to changes in schedules and job scope acrossall Manliftequipment.
  • Travelextensively and respond to 24hour emergency calls promptly andefficiently.
  • Prioritizework plans to ensure assignments are completed with quality andminimalsupervision.
  • Provideinstructions and training on proper repair methods andprocesses.
  • Identifyand propose necessary tools to complete tasks safely andefficiently.
  • Performspecialized maintenance and repair work including major overhaulsof engines hydraulic pumps cylinders and other mechanicalcomponents.
  • Repairelectrical components such as starter motors alternators andvariouscontrollers.
  • Testand perform pressure setting procedures on variouscomponents.
  • Utilizetesting and measuring instruments to analyze and calibrateequipmentparameters.
  • Interprethydraulic and electrical schematics to troubleshootfaults.
  • Conductmajor refurbishment work on AWPs including the replacement ofboom/scissor assemblies and majorcomponents.
  • Conductperiodic safety operation and maintenance inspections at varioussites.
  • Installtracking and tracing equipment on AWPs and upgrade equipment systemperformance in line with manufacturers safetynotices.


Requirements

Toqualify for the role the candidate must meet the followingrequirements:

  • Diplomaor certificate in engineering coupled with at least 78 years ofincreasingly responsible maintenance and repair experience in AWP sor relatedequipment.
  • Experience& knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures withfocus in theelectrical
  • Goodknowledge of English both written and spoken. Knowledge of anadditional language is anasset.
  • Quicklearner eager to learn anddevelop.
  • Avalid UAE driving license would be an addedadvantage.
  • IPAFcertification would be an addedadvantage.

Experience &knowledge of diagnostic equipment, and procedures, with focus inthe electrical Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.Knowledge of an additional language is an asset. Quick learner,eager to learn and develop. A valid UAE driving license would be anadded advantage. IPAF certification would be an added advantage.
