Youll work in teams oftypically 3 5 consultants to identify and oftentimes implementpotential solutions for a specific client problem or challenge.Together you will help clients make lasting improvements to theirperformance and realize their most importantgoals.

Over the course of each project you willgather and analyze information formulate and test hypotheses anddevelop and communicate recommendations. Youll also present resultsto client management and implement recommendations in collaborationwith client team members. In some cases you will be asked to travelto your client site.

This will include a senior colleaguefrom your office or practice who will help you grow and achieveyour career goals. Additionally you will have a professionaldevelopment manager who manages staffing to help you chooseprojects based on your priorities as well as the needs of clientservice teams.

During your first few years with thefirm you will serve as a business analyst on multiple clientengagements and work with a number of colleagues and clients in arange of industry and functional areas.

Weencourage you to explore different content areas or geographiesthrough a yearlong rotation with one of our practices (e.g.corporate finance social sector healthcare operations) or globaloffices; many do this after two years as a generalist businessanalyst. You will likely intersect with many elements of our firmswork including digital implementation and tech and analyticscapabilities either by collaborating on teams or working withcolleagues from these group.

Following yourbusiness analyst tenure assuming good performance you will moveinto a postgraduate school role. Some business analysts will takeadvantage of the opportunity to get outside experience through asecondment (externship) with a private sector or social sectorclient with the firms support. Others may choose to pursue graduateschool with support from thefirm.

Qualifications
  • Undergraduatedegree or masters degree or 1 years of work experience aftercompleting your undergraduate degree; Requirements may vary bycountry or practice
  • Ability to workcollaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment withpeople at all levels of an organization
  • Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of abroader team project
  • Comfort with ambiguouseverchanging situations
  • Ability to break downand solve problems through quantitative thinking andanalysis
  • Ability to communicate effectivelyboth verbally and in writing in English and local officelanguage(s)
