We are currentlyseeking an enthusiastic and dedicated MathTeacher to inspire and motivate students inmathematics. The successful candidate will deliver innovativelessons promoting ytical thinking problemsolving ss and realworldapplication of mathematics concepts. This role requires aprofessional who can engage diverse learners in a positive andstructured environment and contribute to the overall development ofthedepartment.

  • Designand implement dynamic lesson plans that align with the ICScurriculum and internationalstandards.
  • Breakdown complex mathematical concepts into manageable steps forstudents of varyingabilities.
  • Incorporatereallife examples to demonstrate the relevance of math in everydaylife.
  • Usedifferentiation techniques to meet the needs of students withdifferent learning styles and abilities including students withlearning difficulties or advancedlearners.
  • Preparestudents for external examinations including IGCSE Alevels or otherstandardized tests whereapplicable.
  • Regularlyess student understanding through formative and summative essmentssuch as quizzes tests ignments andprojects.
  • Provideconstructive feedback that guides students in their academic growthand helps them understand areas forimprovement.
  • Maintainaccurate records of students grades performance andprogress.
  • Identifystudents who may need additional support and work closely with theInclusion Department to develop strategies forintervention.
  • Elishand enforce rules for behavior to maintain order in theclroom.
  • Fostera respectful inclusive and positive learning environment whereevery student feels valued andsupported.
  • Encouragean interactive clroom atmosphere by promoting active participationcollaboration and peerlearning.
  • Implementstrategies to develop students problemsolving ss creativity andcriticalthinking.
  • Usedigital tools and resources (e.g. Smartboards educational apps andinteractive platforms) to enhance lesson delivery and studentengagement.
  • Incorporateonline essments and data ytics to monitor student progress andadjust teaching approachesaccordingly.
  • Encouragestudents to use technology responsibly for research collaborationand independentlearning.
  • Collaboratewith colleagues across departments to integrate crosscurricularconcepts and interdisciplinaryprojects.
  • Attenddepartment meetings and contribute to discussions on curriculumimprovements teaching strategies and studentprogress.
  • Participatein professional development opportunities and stay updated on thelatest educational trends particularly in mathematics teachingodologies and technologyintegration.
  • Mentornew teachers or student teachers as required providing support andsharing bestpractices.
  • Leador participate in extracurricular activities such as math clubscompetitions or student mentoringprograms.
  • Activelycontribute to schoolwide events including parentteacher meetingsopen days and schoolemblies.
  • Fosterpositive relationships with students parents and the wider schoolcommunity maintaining open lines of communication regarding studentprogress andwellbeing.


RequirementsQualificationsandExperience:
Essential:
  • Bachelors degree in Mathematics or a closely related field (a Master sdegree in Mathematics or Education ispreferred).
  • Internationallyrecognized teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS orequivalent).
  • Minimumof 2 years of teaching experience in an international ormulticulturalsetting.
  • Demonstratedability to teach mathematics to students from Key Stage 3 to KeyStage 5 (IGCSE and Alevel orequivalent).
  • Proficiencyin integrating technology into teaching andlearning.
  • NativeEnglish speaker or highly proficient in English (Britishqualification or experiencepreferred).
