Aboutthe role

As a Senior Product Designerand part of the design team at Careem you will be at the forefrontof innovation working with a team of talented product designers todeliver worldclass experiences.

Your strategicvision and leadership skills will play a pivotal role in shapingthe future of our organization guiding work for a significantproduct area and handling complex projects with overlappingorganizational lines driving the user experience strategy andchampioning design excellence.

You willcollaborate with crossfunctional teams to translate business goalsinto intuitive engaging and visually stunning experiences. Yourwork will have a direct impact on millions of users captains andpartners transforming their interactions and enhancing their liveson a daily basis.

What youlldo:

  • Execute the UX designstrategy aligning it with business goals industry best practicesand emerging trends.
  • Advocate for usercentereddesign principles championing the importance of empathy researchand iterative design methodologies throughout theorganization.
  • Collaborate closely with productmanagers engineers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integrationof user experience design into the product developmentprocess.
  • Conduct user research usabilitytesting and gather insights to inform the design strategy andoptimize the user journey.
  • Create &oversee the creation of wireframes prototypes and highfidelitydesigns ensuring they adhere to best practices in interactiondesign accessibility and visualaesthetics.
  • Support in maintaining designsystems style guides and UI components to ensure consistencyefficiency and scalability across products andplatforms.
  • Stay up to date with the latesttrends technologies and design innovations sharing knowledge andinspiring the team to push boundaries and explore newpossibilities.
  • Collaborate with seniorstakeholders to align design initiatives with the overall businessstrategy presenting compelling design concepts and advocating foruser needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement indesign processes tools and methodologies optimizing efficiency andquality throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Helpdeliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs andopportunities
  • Design and ship high qualityproduct improvements
  • Support the evolution ofthe design processes within the broader org to optimize forefficiency
  • Nurture and champion the designculture at Careem

What youllneed:

  • 6 years of extensive productdesign experience with a strong focus on excellent craft and aproven track record of managing projects with demonstrated impacton the organization success
  • Understandingindepth Growth domains and datainformed designapproach
  • Strategic and critical thinking pairedwith flexibility and being open minded
  • Abilityto measure and clearly articulate the value of design within theorganization
  • Ability to effectively leadendtoend design process within yourteam
