Key Result Areas:

2.Identify andanalyse risk areas from a legal perspective; provide counterclauses to ensure that the company*s interest is protected and thebest commercial and legal positions are maintained.

3.Work closely with the leadership team andprovide effective legal inputs on various strategic initiatives andpolicy development proposals.

4.Keep abreastof all legal and regulatory changes that may affect the businessacross all areas suggest amendments to internal policies and amendcontracts to reflect those changes.

5.Reviewand recommend corrective actions on issues raised by departments tosupport their legal requests.

6.Respond toalleged violations of rules regulations policies procedures andStandards of Conduct by evaluating or recommending the initiationof investigative procedures.

10.Planand oversee the legal activities involved in the preparationprocessing review maintenance and distribution of legal recordsdocuments reports and correspondence.

11.Consult with attorneys and representatives or personnel fromFederal law enforcement agencies concerning legal documentprocessing.

12.Provide day to day legal adviceand support on the rules and regulations pertaining to UAE labourlaw sponsorship promotion and events reviewing complex and variedlocal laws and implications and drafting preparing and negotiatingrelated documents and agreements.

13.Appear atvarious internal forums for imparting legal awareness training andadvising on legal issues and highlight procedural deficiencies.

14.Educate the business teams and individualsinvolved in negotiating complex commercial deals such that they areequipped with the necessary knowledge and subsequently working withthem as the agreements are drafted revised and completed.

Job Context:
Responsible for balancing conflicting business demands producinghigh quality practical and commerciallyoriented legal advice.

Where required managing allocated outsourcedwork and communicating effectively to ensure clients are fullyinformed of progress towards the resolution of problems and thecompletion of their projects. Ensure that complex or high levelmatters are completed correctly and referred to the AVP LegalAffairs as appropriate.

Ensure thatprofessional knowledge is sufficiently maintained and applied bymonitoring and reviewing legal publications and changes inlegislation ensuring that any such changes are shared within theteam.

KnowledgeSkills & Minimum Experience:
Education Qualification:
Qualifications: Law degree from a recogniseduniversity or a recognised legal executive qualification withcurrent certification including qualification as a solicitorbarrister attorney or Graduate or Fellow of the Chartered Instituteof Legal Executives or equivalent.

Work Experience:
Experience: 3 years post graduate experience ina corporate group inhouse legal department or law firm.Previous UKUAE or other GCC country experience will be an advantage.

Knowledge/skills:specialised knowledge and experience in drafting commercialagreements.

Skills:
An excellent technical andpractical knowledge of contract law close attention to detail theability to prioritise your workload and be an effectivecommunicator.

Excellent English languagewritten and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative teamsetting.
